In this post, I will be talking about my experience with SENDCode and what I have learnt with my time with them. As well as going into detail about the projects I have done with them.

SendCode is a educational consultant company based in Manchester, I have been working with them since April and I have had a hand in designing their website.  I first came across SENDCode when I was working alongside Bury Educational Support and Training (BEST). My reasons for attending SENDCode were to give me a better chance to get into employment, this is something with which I have struggled due to having a bad stammer, which can get particularly bad in stressful situations, for example job interviews.

However, since starting with SENDCode not only have I felt more confident, but I also feel my skills have improved due to using Wix and WordPress. Using these specific platforms to design the websites have allowed me to gain more skills though using them. The SENDCode website was designed on Wix while my own personal portfolio website on WordPress. My reason for choosing the two different platforms were it would give me the chance to try something new therefore allowing me the opportunity to get more experience with different platforms.

Moving forward I feel that my experience with SENDCode has definitely made me more confident about my abilities and working within a work office environment. This is something that I don’t feel would be possible without the help of SENDCode as its giving me the belief moving forward to get into employment.

Anyone reading this feels that they are in a similar situation then I would highly recommend SendCode. Not only due to its very friendly and easy-going atmosphere but for the opportunity to expand your horizons whether its learning new skills or being in a different environment.
